Step by Step Guide to Renting
So you have found the right property for you … what next?
Complete the application to rent form, this can be found on the tenants heading under application to rent.
If a guarantor is required (we will let you know if this is needed) they will also need to complete the above form also under the Guarantor heading.
You will be sent a request to pay the One weeks holding deposit.
Complete the full application on the receipt of your email from VOUCH. Here you will need to provide the following.
- PASSPORT OR PHOTO DRIVING LICENCE (WE NEED TO SEE ORIGINALS)
- PROOF OF CURRENT ADDRESS
- NATIONAL INSURANCE NUMBER
- 3 MONTHS BANK STATEMENTS
- 3 MONTHS WAGE SLIPS
Please not, this step can take an average of 3 working days to process.
When you have passed all relevant checks we need to agree a moving in date.
All monies need to be paid in cleared funds prior to the move in date. BACS Payment preferred.
Moving date is here! You will meet at the office with one of our appointed agents, where you will complete the relevant paperwork, contract and inventory.
We will inform council and all nominated utility companies that you are now the occupier of the property and we will provide all meter readings to them.
please ensure you have set up your standing order with your chosen bank for subsequent rent payments on or before the due date.
If you notice any maintenance issues (leaks etc.), please contact us as soon as possible to have these issues rectified using the My Property File link received.
